Maintenance: Entrance way, lakes, open spaces, street lights, associated improvements and services will be maintained under the Locust Creek Community Association, Inc. The club, pool, and tennis courts are now available for use. The annual maintenance assessment is $780 per year.

Taxes: State, County, School, and Fire taxes total $0.9645/$100

Utilities: Underground electric, gas, water, sewers and cable TV

Schools: Elementary: Tully; Middle: Crosby; High: Eastern; Parochial: St. Patrick; Private: Christian Academy. In August of 2007 a new elementary school will open at 14415 Aiken Road , only 10 minutes from Locust Creek.

Shopping: New shopping center will open in 2007 at the corner of Shelbyville and Flat Rock Road .
